What Do We Do?

Friday Night Fellowship ~ Every 1st and 3rd Friday night we have an international fellowship in our home. With dinner, worship, sharing and a time of bible discussion. We are a community that is seeking to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Children are always welcome! Contact Brian for more information.

International Chrisitan Fellowship ~ Once a month we get together with as many internationals as we can and have a celebration. Dinner and worship with a live band as well as testimonies and sharing. There will either be a teacher leading us or a time of bible study.

Nations at Play ~ Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 10:30am to 12pm a group of moms (dads are welcome too) and their children (any age) gather for an International play group. We sing songs, play games, and get to know some other people with kids. If you want more information contact Erica.

Women's Mandarin Bible Study ~ This Bible study meets twice a month and is led by Mei-Chen. Many Chinese speaking speaking women are gathering for fellowship and to learn more about the Bible and Jesus. Childcare is usually provided. Please contact Mei-Chen for more information.

Mommy & Me ~ Every Friday moms and babies meet off campus for an international baby play group and Bible study. Contact Karen for more information.

Cooking Class ~ is a group of people that love food and love friends. We explore different food from all over the world. Join us and maybe even teach us your favorite foods. Contact Karen for more information.

ESL ~ Every week we offer five classes for you to join. There are classes for the beginner and the advanced. We even have a karaoke class. We have a whole website just for this. You can visit it here.

Baby Care Class ~ Every Saturday in September several ladies are teaching a class on caring for infants. This is a great class to connect with people and gain some experience before your little one arrives. You can find all the details here.

Fall Farm Party ~ Saturday, October 25th we will visit a local farm for a party. Hay Rides, great food, games and fun. More info is coming soon.

Thanksgiving Celebration - On Saturday, November 15th at 6pm we will meet at CSF to celebrate Thanksgiving. Come and enjoy a traditional dinner, sing songs, and learn why we celebrate Thanksgiving. Contact Erica for more information.

Christmas Preparation Party - On Saturday, December 6th join us for this fun time of decorating someone’s home for Christmas. We will go and find a tree and do lots of crafts to decorate it. Of course there will be some Christmas baking too.

Christmas Celebration - On Saturday, December 20th at 6pm. Singing, Christmas foods and a general good time. Contact Erica for more information.

Trips ~ Frequently we take great trips to fun places around the US. Some of our recent trips have been White Water Rafting, Cincinnati Zoo, Houston, New York, Natural Bridge, Canoeing, Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Newport Aquarium, Orchard (to pick fruit). If you have ideas of places you would like to visit feel free to share them with us. Who knows maybe we can work together to organize fun time for everyone. Conferences ~ 4th Annual Kentucky International Student Conference is Oct. 3-5, 2008. This is for you if you want to get out of Lexington and explore some of the countryside of Kentucky. We will be hiking, climbing, canoeing, taking hay rides, enjoying a bonfire and spending time learning about Jesus.
