oasis is a place of rest and refreshment. An
oasis provides shade from the heat and water to
quench thirst. It is a place of hospitality and
a place to prepare for the rest of your
journey. Everyone needs a place like that – a
place where you feel welcome and have a chance
to rest and refresh. This is especially true of
international students who are far away from
home and are living in a different culture
where it is easy to feel alone. International
Student Oasis hopes to be your “oasis” during
your time at University of Kentucky.
